This years winners of the coveted D&AD awards have been announced today and of all the winners, this one really caught my eye.Most of us will have seen the new coinage in circulation but I wonder how many people realise just how clever the design is.
Each coin (with the exception of the pound coin) features a section of the sheild design (that appears in full on the £1 coin) which form an entire design when positioned together correctly.
After scrambling around for some loose change I found all the coins in the collection and made my very own sheild!
